Integral High Finned Tube Product Description:
The Integral High Finned Tube is formed by heating and extruding a billet tube. The wall thickness of the billet tube is determined by the height of the fins. It has advantages of high production efficiency, low cost. In addition, the fin roots of the integral finned tube are formed as a small radius arc for smooth transition which helps a better heat transfer.
Integral High Finned Tube(Aluminum Fin Tube) Manufacturing Process:
The fins are rolled out from the wall of the tubes and hence are integral with the tube. As the fins are formed from the base tube by rolling out material from its wall, the wall thickness under the finned section is reduced compared to the wall thickness at plain ends. Thus, the tube thickness of unfinned section shall be machined down to the same as the finned section. These fin tubes can be manufactured from most tubular materials and the hardness of the material usually determines the finning code or fin profile. The tubes shall be heated up to a certain condition helps to eliminate the possibility of fin cracking.
