Studded Tube and studded Fin Tube are used to enhance convection heat transfer outside the tube. In order to avoid excessive ash accumulation and affect the heat transfer effect, in addition to the mandatory burning oil and oil and gas mixed burning should be set up soot blower, but also according to the scope of use should be correctly selected nail head tube or fin tube. It not only receives the radiation heat transfer from the radiation chamber, but also absorbs the convection heat transfer from the high temperature flue gas. The surface heat intensity of the furnace tube is very high, sometimes even exceeds the heat intensity of the radiation tube. These two or three rows of furnace tubes are called shielding tubes, which can only be used as light tubes, and can not be used as nail head tubes and fin tubes. The heat transfer coefficient of the medium in the convection chamber of tubular furnace is generally much greater than that of the flue gas outside the tube.

STUDDED TUBE

The studs on the tube significantly increase the surface area available for heat transfer. This increased surface area ensures better heat exchange between the fluid and the tube, leading to improved overall efficiency. The studs attached to the tube create turbulence in the fluid flow, which helps in improving heat transfer. This increased heat transfer efficiency allows for more effective cooling or heating of the fluid inside the tube. The studs on the tube are securely welded or rolled onto the surface, providing high structural strength. This ensures that the tube can withstand high pressure and temperature conditions without any deformation or damage.
