High Flux Tube is a kind of high efficiency Heat Exchanger tube which sinters a layer of porous surface with special structure on the inner surface of ordinary heat exchanger tube by powder metallurgy method.
• The holes in the surface porous layer are connected with the holes, which can significantly enhance boiling heat transfer. With grooves on the outer surface, the heat transfer effect can be increased by more than 10 times.
• High Flux Tube is tube element with the highest heat transfer coefficient up to now.
High flux tube can be classified into three groups: Sintered high flux tube, Sprayed high flux tube and Machined high flux tube. Among them, sintered high flux tube is the most expensive for its complex processing method and high efficiency; machined high flux tube is applied to mediums with high surface tension, its performance is in between; sprayed high flux tube is the cheapest for its easy process and low efficiency.
Compared with the bare tube, the sintered surface porous tube has the following advantages:
(1) it can significantly enhance the boiling heat, reduce the heat transfer area of about half, and have broad application prospects in the chemical and petrochemical plants such as large ethylene and large aromatics.
(2) in a very small difference in the maintenance of boiling, low taste energy recovery and low temperature boiling heat transfer has a great value, can be used to reduce the temperature of the heating steam.
(3) the critical heat load is more than 50% higher than that of the ordinary pipe.
(4) has good scale inhibition performance.
