Advantages:

As the distance between the longitudinal finned tubes increases, the drag coefficient and pressure drop are generally flat. This is because the overall complexity of the flow channel does not change significantly, and the flow velocity of the fluid in the flow channel changes little. Less affected.
The change of the longitudinal finned tube spacing will not cause the change of the heat exchange area. During the calculation process, the hydraulic diameter on the air side remains unchanged, which has little effect on the fluid Reynolds number, but the heat transfer factor and heat transfer have a slight effect when the longitudinal spacing increases. This is due to the fact that the increase in the longitudinal spacing increases the heat transfer area of the air when it flows in the Heat Exchanger.
In general, changing the longitudinal spacing to enhance the heat transfer performance of the Finned Tube Heat Exchanger has little effect.
