G Finned Tube Product Description:
In heat exchangers, fluid types, heat transfer surface areas, fluid velocity ve pressure play an important role. In order to increase the heat transfer surface area on tubes and by taking into account of the fluid velocity inside tube, grooves are applied on outer surface of the tube.
Groove application is the process of engraving on tube outer surface in spiral shape by special machines. In this way, the heat transfer surface area on the tube is approximately increased by 15%.
Product selection is made by considering client requirements and places of product utilization with the calculation of efficiency and optimal product costs. For the product selection, alternative solutions are presented by taking environmental conditions and safety rules into account.
Grooved tubes generally are used in cooling oil. Also they can be used as Heat Exchanger in water, glycol, refrigerant gas systems, evaporator and condenser applications.
G Finned Tube(Aluminum Finned Tube) Manufacturing Process:
The manufacturing tool is made up of 2 non-cutting plates set at 90° to the axis of the base tubes (core tube).The first plate effects a groove for metal spinning. The second directs the ribbon in the groove and sets the fin foot in the groove through pressure on the metal displaced for the groove. A similar plate made of tungsten carburate allows us to manufacture. G embedded fin tubes ( fin tubes )with base tubes (core tube) made of austenitic steel or exotic alloys.
G Finned Tube(Finned Aluminum Tubing) Advantages:

The fin/tube wall contact is constant because of the setting and makes it possible to use a wall temperature of up to 450°C.
