Extruded Fin Tube Product Description:

The processing technology of cold rolled finned tube of steel and aluminum is made from aluminum tube and steel tube into bimetallic composite tube, and then the finned tube is formed after the mechanical cold rolled tube.

Based on the physical characteristics of aluminum tube, the tube with steel tube as the core is made into a finned tube which is closely combined with the cold rolled aluminum fin.

Extruded Finned Tube Manufacturing Process:

The fins are rotary cold rolled from a smooth thick walled hollow blank tube slid over the core tube. Three multi spindle disc packs extrude the hollow blank tube into helical high fins.

During this process the inner diameter of the hollow blank tube is reduced and at the same time pressed on the core tube. This results in a mechanically solid joint.

Extruded Aluminum Tubing Properties:

Aluminum fins are formed from a bimetallic tube consisting of a base tube and an aluminium muff tube. The fins are formed on a cold rolling process from the wall thickness of the aluminium muff tube. Extruded fin gives very good corrosion protection to the base tube, as the base tube is not visible to the atmosphere inbetween the fins.

Maximum operating temperature for extruded finned tube is 325 deg C.
